I enjoyed The Time Machine nicely.

The Simon Wells/Guy Pearce film. Yeah, so did I. My only quibble is the speed of the CGI Morlocks created an unbelievable scenario.

I liked the second Mummy fairly well. I saw it before the original and should have stopped while I was ahead I guess.

Funny enough I'm not a fan of any of the recent Mummy films, but I don't hate them, just rather indifferent. The anime influence description is spot-on.

The first Mummy film has a lot going for it, imho. A quirky-but-believabe turn by Brendan Fraser as an adventurer; the gorgeous Rachel Weisz and the chemistry between Weisz and Fraser; the very strong presence of Arnold Vosloo under the CGI makeup (which carried on to the second film and was aided by Patricia Velasquez as Anck Su Namun to overcome other deficiencies). Plus the absolutely terrific Jerry Goldsmith score in the first film. If Basil Poledoris helped Ah-nald turn into Conan, then Goldsmith certainly helped create a legitimate Egyptian motif.

But this is a Van Helsing thread. Unfortunately, Sommers didn't have quite the cast nor a Goldsmith score to back him in that film.
