Phil told me that the guy inside the suit (I have his name somewhere) had to walk a certain way to hide either the zipper or the fact that the suit was damaged (forget which) -- and it was that manner of walking that was used as evidence by some believers as "proof" that it wasn't a guy in a suit.


I also think the design of the feet had something to do with the walk. If you look closely at the footage, you'll see the feet have square heels (which for me anyway, proves its a suit, since primates have rounded heels). I think the feet have flat soles (like clown shoes) that affected the gait of the actor inside
