OK, I think I've figured this guy out now, Thanks to Terry.
1st, you have Nigros ( blatantly) false statement about playing Kong.
He also claims that he played the gorilla in ; The Unholy 3 (Gemora), Mighty Joe Young (animated by W.O,B) Son of Tarzan, silent ( Gemora again) Tarzan and his Mate ( Corrigan)and The Ape Man ! ( Emil Van Horn.)
He also states that RKO refused to let him use the name "King Kong" for a gorilla and girl nightclub act. (burlesque)

His statement about the burlesque act is almost identical to Emil Van Horns M.O.
Van Horn also padded his list of credits by claiming films featuring Gemora and Corrigan as apes were actually him.
Van horn also was a featured act on the burlesque circuit , billing himself on more than one occasion as King Kong , and in publicity flyers was claimed to have played Kong in the movie.

Van Horn, and most probably Nigro, used to dazzle the strip....er..dancers with tales of their exploits as the greatest apes to have graced the silver screen.
After spewing enough B.S. to flow over the wall on Skull Island , these guys probably started believing their own rap.

I'd love to get Bob Burns take on this guy, I'll send him a link to this topic and see if he has any info.
