MGM has put a lot of AIP monster movies on DVD. Now if MGM would just give us some of MGM's own releases on DVD. I'm still waiting (maybe in vain) for a DVD of GORGO that isn't doubly cropped (cut off at the sides AND at the top and bottom -the VCI "widescreen" DVD is a cropped fullscreen print).

MGM has no rights to GORGO.

As for an MGM DVD of GREEN SLIME/MESSAGE FROM SPACE, I'd be on that BEFORE it hit the shelf at Best Buy or wherever!
GREEN SLIME, as a pre-86 MGM title, is owned by Turner/Warner Bros., so a double feature DVD is not going to happen--unless, I suppose, Warners succeeds in its bid to buy MGM.

Just saw MESSAGE FROM SPACE for the first time at a screening here at work. (Someone requested it for their birthday screening and--What?  They don't arrange private screenings of films for your birthday where you work?) It was really . . . something.
