Two-way tie for first season fave:

"Hillary's Birthday" and "Hillary's Father" -- Both sport priceless turns by Sid Fields ("Turn that Off!" in the former, 'Zingo, You're Ready for Breakfast" and "Melonhead Fields" in the latter), with memorable guest appearances by Raymond "The Poet and the Peasant" Hatton, Minerva "Free, White and 38" Urecal, and Joe "I go down to Alabamy to see my mammy" Kirk.

Runners-up:

"The Politician" -- The climactic rally in the park (featuring Gloria Talbott as one of the lost-clothing gals) is worth the price of admission alone. But there are also funny bits with Fields (doing a variation of "Turn that Off"), Joan Shawlee as a "wopera" groupie, Kathryn "Miss Argyle of ARBOR DAY" Sheldon as Costello's grade school teacher, and Bingo the Chimp in a baby carriage.

"Lou's Birthday" -- I love this one-off mixture of comedy and pathos. Episode highlights: Fields' racy gift ("Take another peek!"), Mrs. Fields' aversion to strawberries, Terry and the Used Car Dealers, Lou's famous antipasto, Bacciagalupe's multi-layer cake, street encounters with Stinky, Mike the Cop, and an old lady wielding a mean cane.
