I have the "Candy" DVD and even the soundtrack album, and why I do like some but not much of the film, good, bad or indifferent, this film has absolutely no resemblence in script, style, editing, direction, concept or execution to "Mad World". "Candy" has a large cast, but the similiarity ends there. The episodic nature of "Candy" and it's treatment of stars is more in line with 1967's "Casino Royale" perhaps (where the big things fall flat, but the little things are funny)

I thought Burton's hair blowing in the wind everywhere he went was a funny touch.
