It was an interesting premise, no doubt--the execution, however. Yikes! Just watch the expressions on the faces of those two teenage twits as they make their "daring" phone call pranks. It's so, it's so...well, it's so Gidgety and Deborah Walley-like. And the addition of an annoying little sister really brings everything down to the level of sitcom. I mean, really. I expected Lucy to come through the door at any time, followed by Wally and the Beav!
One good thing about this, though. Joan Crawford pushes a hassock or something out of her way with an audible "Eeuhhh!" Then, when she grabs hold of the teenage twit's hair and begins yanking it out by the roots, you gotta laff. Listen to Joan's vodka-induced shrieks of "get oudda heah!" Over and over!
