Both Lang and Borzage's versions of LILIOM were shown several times on French television, so they aren't "rare".
Incidentally, you must add in the list of lost films the foreign-language versions, for instance "El gato" (Spanish version of "The Cat Creeps"), "El ultimo varon sobre la Tierra" (Spanish version of "It's Great to Be Alive"), etc.
Some early British horrors are also lost, apparently, or only available in truncated versions (like "The Mystery of the Mary Celeste" with Lugosi - the US version is heavily cut).
