Missed out on that one, but it sounds like a lot of fun. show three or four different serials, a chapter a week in an hour time slot. How cool would it have been to have seen an hour of Flash Gordon, Radar Men from the Moon, the Purple Monster Strikes, and Captain Video, Master of the Stratosphere every week?!? That would be cool, too. There was a period when AMC (before they became the Anemic Movie Channel) would show a cliffhanger chapter on Saturday morning (often with a comedy short and cartoon and a B-flick). And on occasion, they would do a cliffhanger marathon (running the complete PANTHER GIRL OF THE KONGO, seems like either one of the Batman and/or Superman serials, etc). Wonder if there are enough serials out there to have a Cliffhanger Channel? (Just a pipe dream, I know....) If you guys get a chance (and haven't already seen it), check out Leonard Maltin's 1993 documentary on Republic Serials, CLIFFHANGERS! ADVENTURES FROM THE THRILL FACTORY.
