I enjoy them! Recently, my wife and I were thoroughly creeped out by an episode of Quiet Please titled The Thing On The Fourble Board. One of the best I've ever heard. Can you recommend any specific episodes of programs? And who do you recommend as a seller of OTR? Quality seems to vary so much, even after leaving aside the fact that pristine source materials don't exist for many shows.

As far as justifying radio horror shows being discussed in this section, we'll just have to think of them as movies that couldn't afford a camera or sets! ;^)

I have enjoyed some of the Inner Sanctum and The Price Of Fear episodes very much. The Mercury Theater production of "Dracula" is a classic, I think.

A local radio station broadcasts Twilight Zone episodes. Some have been pretty good, and you can buy them on CD.

Other newer stuff includes the Tales From The Crypt shows by Seeing Ear Theater, but I don't care for them. I DO recommend Frankenstein by the Quicksilver Theater. Their version of Shelley's tale is the best I've ever heard.
