I really enjoyed this early Herman Cohen production the first (and only) time I saw it; the Aben Kandel screenplay reminded me a bit of Golden Age Hollywood boxing movies like James Cagney's CITY OF CONQUEST by ... ummm ... Aben Kandel. And I'm glad to hear the commentary is lively. I bet the guy behind it was producer Jack Broder's grandson, a young guy very dedicated to preserving any/all info about the making of Gramps' movies.

I see on its Amazon page that it also features a video interview with Broder's daughter Madelynn, who produced his WOMEN OF THE PREHISTORIC PLANET and NAVY VS. THE NIGHT MONSTERS (and much more recently was a lawyer involved on the O.J. Simpson case -- I forget which side!).
