Over the years, most of the older small studios were torn down or converted to other uses. What was Columbia in Hollywood still stands, though I'm not sure what the name is now. You can still find smallish studios scattered all over the place; just recently on Fountain Beverly noticed a sign on a building we'd passed many times before calling it a Mack Sennett Studio. This is a mile or two from Edendale (which is actually where we live, though it's no longer called Edendale), which is where Sennett had his stages most of the time. One still stands, but it's now a public storage facility. When I covered FREAKED for Fango, I was surprised to find it being shot on a very small studio lot in the Ramparts area--a couple of blocks behind the Rampart police station. This studio used to belong to Mary Pickford. I had no idea that it existed until I visited it.
