I agree about Allison. She didn't sell that song at all, and again was surprised by the judges praise. Still, she is my one favorite of the group (although she has no chance to win).

Adam...I'm sorry, but he was way too screechy for my taste. I also felt his song choice was an indulgent groaner, and frankly when you get right down to it I find him kind of creepy looking. Maybe it's the eye-liner, or the that jet black helmet hair, or that pearly white smile of his...or all of the above. but even my daughter commented on his ickyness last night.

Lil got a little cocky last night. She's gone for sure.

Danny was ordinary at best. Looked like an impostor without his specs.

Matt = zzzzzzzzzzz

Anoop was good, but as usual instantly forgettable.

Considering there was nearly 80 years of incredible movie music to choose from last nights show was a major disappointment. I DID think Quention T's advice to the singers was probably the most constructive of all the past mentors used this season. Too bad IDOL can't jettison both Kara & Paula and make him a permanent judge. Did you notice Fox was reluctant to say the title of his upcoming feature, merely describing it as a WWII action film?
