You're right, Chris. That Friday night timeslot is a bit of a dead zone. Any show that is scheduled in that timeslot is going to lose a huge section of what you would think the Dollhouse demographic would be, young adults. Young adults have better things to do on Friday night that sit at home and watch tv. That leaves children and adolescnets and the 35+ demographic for this show to draw its audience from.

This is the time of year when Cheryle and I will watch three or four nights of broadcast television. That's just between 24 and American Idol. Other than that I rarely watch broadcast television. So, I don't even know what Dollhouse is counterprogrammed against. Is it up against stiff competititon for the audiences mentioned above?
