Good analysis there David as the Hemric-Sony issue is very interesting. Didn't know that Sony has a stake in his work.

POTRZEBIE, interesting that Adryan Russ has the song on her CD as a hidden bonus. The question about the soruce quality could have been taken from the Orion VHS...that, or an old magnetic track that didn't hold out well. As for why it's a hidden feature, we can only speculate...

Paul Haight, thanks for the answer on AIP releasing those 45s of "Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow" as I'm surpised it really wasn't an advertising gimic! Interestingly enough, I was checking my file on "Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs" and despite not being released on records, I found an interesting credit: 'Sung by The Sloopy's, through the courtesy of Sidewalk Records'. Although, considering the film was a box office dud in America, Arkoff and Nicholson probably didn't feel any loss over releasing a record...from The Sloopy's, no less.
