That sounds like a lot of fun--wish I could be there!

I still have a dubbed copy of LADY TERMINATOR around here somewhere. That was a lively and very strange little flick. The lead actress is a babe. She kills a lot more people in the police station than Ahnuld did.

Well, I'm aiming to have it videotaped so it can appear on the internet (youtube, Google video with mp4 download options, etc). That way people who are not in the NY/NJ area can still get to see it.

That police station scene is amazing, it's like World War III! Also the battle wagon they use at the end is amazing. I'd recommend getting the Mondo Macabro DVD of Lady Terminator, great print and some nice extras (even a documentary that runs about 30 minutes on Indonesian fantasy films).

I recall hearing about a recent Bollywood fantasy concerning a boy wizard named "Hari Putar". The producers insist that it's not copyright infringement, as both "Hari" and "Putar" are exceptionally common names in India.
Really, I recall reading about an Indian novel. Didn't know it was being adapted. Still, I can't say it surprises me, India remade Oldboy (and I mean in the most direct sense), Bloodsport, and tons of other films.

This is Russian, but I know I've always wanted a re-make of Mark Lester's Commando! The thing was made in 2008 (and as you can tell by some of the computers in the making of), and was not a cheap film.
