Forgive me if I unwittingly pushed your buttons, Siouxsie Sue. I knew you had a deep voice because I could hear it shouting at me from across the pond. I'm a dedicated fan of this program -- it is one of my favorite programs and an influence on me, sort of -- and of Patrick McGoohan's work, too, so we agree on that much.

PAL speed-up is perceptible to most everyone regardless of how you break it down mathematically because, as you say, it looks and feels wrong. I appreciate the effort you put into the Suspiria samples, but given the technological inconsistencies and variables of the internet, your sound bites can't be an accurate test.
Before I did this, I assume I was experiencing a psychosomatic response to reading stuff like the above. Very annoying.

Whatever you might think or imagine on this issue,
Whatever I may think or imagine?
That's very condescending.
However I will not take offense.
I'm not trying to prove anything, either.
PAL speed up is what it is.

I'm not an engineer, and I know less about computers and the internet than everyone here, but I have invested many hundreds of hours since the 1970s editing film and tape, and I know what I see and hear when I see and hear it.
