Anita and I saw this and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in a rare (for us) marathon movie-going session Monday. I loved it and actually thought Cruise was quite good. I've liked him a few times in the past when he's been properly cast (Minority Report, Eyes Wide Shut), but more often than not (War of the Worlds and just about everything else) I've not been particularly impressed with his work. This time out, though, I thought he was splendid.

Stellar work from Branagh, Stamp, Izzard, Nigh and Wilkinson as well. I highly recommend it.
