While there are no full-blown psychos on board, the survivors do go briefly (and homicidally) nutzoid when they turn en masse on Willy. It's a shocking scene, made all the more disquieting by the sight of mousy Mary Anderson leading the blood-crazed lynch mob. Just thinking about her ferocious war cry gives me goosebumps; for my dough, it's the most unsettling scream this side of Laird Cregar's victim-mocking death shriek in THE LODGER.
