I enjoyed Tower Of London the one time I saw it in its entirety, can probably get through life without revisiting it. A strange mix of Universal horror with a Metro-ish ambition, as if the studio was trying to do a grand film in the Tale Of Two Cities-Romeo and Juliet vein, had to give it that horror ambiance because they were, well Universal, and that's what they did best. Karloff's the best thing in it; whenever he turned up things really started to hum.
