I see it the same way. CGI can be great when married well with other methods and in my opinion it enhances them. I would be pretty excited to see Rick's great make up enhanced with CGI in a transformation sequence. Wonder why November instead of Oct? (Halloween time?) Sigh...not competition from yet another Saw movie is it?

<<<<I don't see it as a bad thing. It will give them more time to make it better. Though I am anxious to see it and would like to see it sooner. November is a better time to release it than April in my opinion .

No one has talked to me about doing any transformation stuff but if I did I would take advantage of what CG has to offer. A marriage of both techniques would lead to a better transformation .At least I thank that.

I was involved with the CG guys on the Curious Case of Benjamin Button and I think it has some of the most exciting uses of CG as far as human characters go ever. I think it is ground breaking stuff. The film is good too BTW.
