I don't think it'll be epically bad -- just a let down, like most of his other recent films, and his reputation just adds to that. And I LOVE WW2 films, and war films in general (I'm actually outlining 2 and rewriting 1 now!) but this one just doesn't seem to have all it's pieces fit into place properly.

Which is a disappointment considering the supporting cast is GREAT. I would consider seeing it if it didn't turn out to be terrible, but how often to films that look awful end up being really good? Not often enough ...
