I was kind of disgusted that Charlton Heston wasn't given any big coverage on newpaper covers here in New York, nor on magazine covers. PEOPLE had a big cover for Beyonce getting married (oh boy!) and ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY chose to focus on whoever that comediene is (forgot her name). At least Chuck got a tiny photo on the side of the PEOPLE cover; on EW, all he got was a tiny wording on the bottom: "Charlton Heston Tribute"...

Just as an update to what I wrote above here ... on the other hand, Paul Newman got a TON of coverage on his recent death (and I liked Newman too). All sorts of covers, magazine specials, etc. I can't help but believe it's due to the different public personas of both actors, and their beliefs. I just think that was unfair.
