Silent, and not genre, but Daughter of the Night from 1920 is better than anything you're missing, and better than half of what you already have. (imdb lists it as: Der Tanz auf dem Vulkan - 1. Sybil Young) It's a slightly dark spy movie, ful of intrigue, set in the Russian revolution. Bela plays the rich guy/hero who gets dragged into the intrigue. I'm not always thrilled with Bela's acting ability, but I think he's exceptional in this. sinistercinema has it heavily cut, but I hear that's the only way it's available.

Also, Phantom Ship (aka. The Mystery of the Marie Celeste) might be worth watching, if only because it's an early Hammer film (their second) and the only Hammer with Lugosi. It's... well... pretty much everyone on the ship gets killed.

I can recommend Plan 9 with a clear conscience. You just need to see Johnny Depp in Ed Wood first.
