My Recent Posts
The "too horrific" original death scene of Alex Kitner in JAWS where the shark comes up from the depths and devastates the poor kid. There are stills of it (horrifying) and some raw footage in the trailer for the "The Shark is Still Working" documentary.
The alternate ending for FRIDAY THE 13TH 3D where Jason decapitates the final girl in a dream sequence. Stills also exist of this.
KING KONG "spider pit" scene is a no brainer.
The extended zombie footage Romero had in NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD that the distributers tossed to show more gut eating.
The insanely silly final shot i saw of a Canadian TV version of HUMANOID FROM THE DEEP where, after the girl gives birth to the mutant baby, this version had a hilarious coda showing a smiling Humanoid peeking in the ER room window. Hahah how the hell did he get the address and how did nobody notice his ass walking around the hospital?
The numerous murder scenes that were gutted from MY BLOODY VALENTINE to get an R rating. Sloppy cuts greatly reduce the impact of these scenes and would have improved an otherwise great horror film. Fangoria showed stills of these grisly scenes in the 80s and i have wanted to see them ever since.
Shots of INFRAMAN where he is riding his Kamen Rider style motorcycle. They built one and i'll be damned if that wasn't a foolish thing to make and then not show off.
