I mentioned Modesty Blaise only to note that after she debuted in the early 1960's, many would say that no notable adventure comic strips followed, as comic strip started focusing on gag strips, not serial adventure strips. That was 1963. Therefore, in the early to late 1960's, when Pinnacle and other paperback publishers started putting out paperback original adventure series such as the Death Merchant, Remo Williams, and the Penetrator, while Jove put out the Trailsman, Lone Star, and Longarm, etc. there would have been an extremely slim chance of seeing comic strips based on these characters or series.

However, there was a Remo Williams comic book, so I had guessed that some other paperback original series may have gotten comic book adaptations.

Characters who did not debut in paperbacks do not count for this deliberation. If they debuted in hardcover, pulps, magazines, slicks, etc. they do not count.
