Thanks for posting all of this great informaton, Floyd!

BTW, ULTRAMAN was also on KTXL-40 M-F at 4:00 pm (IIRC) and JOHNNY SOKKO AND HIS FLYING ROBOT on Sunday mornings (ULTRAMAN moved to 8:00 AM in 1975, or thereabouts). DARK SHADOWS began re-running at 11:00 PM (IIRC) M-F on KBHK in 1975/76, starting with the Barnabas episodes, and KGO-7 had the 3:30 Movie "Monster Weeks" and Channel 11 in San Jose had the Million Dollar Movie "Monster Weeks" as well. KPIX-5 would run monster movies on Sunday afternoons, when Sports Events were cancelled, and late nights -- it was the only way to see GHIDRAH or DESTROY ALL MONSTERS if you didn't have cable to get KTXL.

As for KBHK-44's Friday nights, they had "The Friday Night Drive-In Movie", where they would show two horror/sci-fi/fantasy films, with an "Old Time Movie Serial" (like S.O.S COAST GUARD) during the "intermission"... If I am not mistaken, "The Ghoul" was on Saturday nights, because I remember flipping back and forth between "Creature Features" on KTVU-2 and "The Ghoul" on KBHK-44. At the time, "Creature Features" was only on Saturday nights (it didn't expand to Fridays until late 1976/1977?).
I fondly remember ULTRAMAN on KTXL as well as JOHNNY SOKKO, However looking at my DEC.22-28, 1973 TV GUIDE, ULTRAMAN (or JOHNNY SOKKO) wasn't on KTXL yet. LOST IN SPACE is on KTXL at 4:PM weekdays. My cable tv service had the following Bay Area TV Stations in 1973: KTVU-2, KQED-9, KEMO-20 and KBHK-44. They picked up KTSF-26,KQEC-32, KGSC-36, KVOF-38 and KDTV-60 in 1978, the latter changing to KCSM in 1979. By 1981, They dropped KTSF, KQEC, KVOF and KDTV but picks up KRON-4, KPIX-5 and KGO-7. In 1982, They drop Channel 20 which had become KTZO but picked them up again in 1986.In 1984, They pick up KFCB-42. In 1989, They drop KBHK in favor of TURNER NETWORK TELEVISION. In 1991, They pick up KTSF again but then comes what I term as THE BIG BAY AREA TELEVISION MASSACRE in 1993, when they drop several Bay Area TV Stations: KTVU, KPIX and KTSF (for the second time). Now the only Bay Area TV Stations my cable company carries today are KRON-4, KGO-7, KQED-9, KBWB-20, KICU-36 and KTNC-42. As for THE GHOUL, you maybe right, but I wonder if he moved as in my TV GUIDE for SATURDAY, DECEMBER 22, There is NO HORROR MOVIES on that night. 6:PM: IT TAKES A THIEF 7:PM: HOGAN'S HEROES 7:30PM: 49er HUDDLE=Bob Murphy 8:PM: FLINTSTONES 8:30PM: FLINTSTONES 9:PM: MOVIE: "ROYAL WEDDING"-MUSICAL starring Fred Astaire 11:PM: LOU GORDON 12:30AM KBHK Signs Off The latter on the sign off wasn't in the TV GUIDE, it is that the talk show LOU GORDON was listed as 90 minutes and nothing appears at 12:30AM. My guess is that THE GHOUL was moved as I remember seeing him but almost sure it wasn't on Saturday Nights when my parents got CABLE TV in 1974 (around May). I have an older TV GUIDE around 1970 which had KBHK with HORROR MOVIES around 7:PM and competing against ASMODEOUS on KEMO-20. Maybe, KBHK thought BOB WILKINS was too much competition for THE GHOUL and moved him to FRIDAY NIGHTS? According to my TV GUIDE, The only HORROR MOVIES on KBHK-44 was SATURDAYS from NOON-3:PM and FRIDAY NIGHTS from 8:30PM-1:AM.
