And speaking of KTSF-26, it was a very interesting TV station, or at least its early days. My cable tv system picked up KTSF in 1978. At that time, it was on the air only from 6:PM-11:PM consisting of only a P.D. CLASSIC MOVIE, a religious show called PRAISE THE LORD and a couple hours of CHINESE LANGUAGE PROGRAMMING. Also before JAMES GABBERT bought KEMO-20 from LEON CROSBY in 1980, He used to do LIVE REMOTES from the studios of K-101 RADIO, kind of like an early version of MTV.Then of course,in 1980, the evening hours were OVER-THE-AIR SUBSCRITION TV called STAR TV until 1985. Today KTSF is a MULTI-CULTURAL TELEVISION STATION.
KTSF-26 signed on the air on SEPTEMBER 4, 1976 by LILLIAN LINCOLN HOWELL.
