The prints did look o.k. - it's just sad that they aren't better than that (there's a thread hereabouts about the criminal mishandling of the Elements, I think?) And one of the features had some weird digital artifacts; dunno if that was TCM's fault, or Time Warner's...

It WAS a hoot to see so much of The Boys' stuff again, though! The Wife & I tuned in & out, and the jogging of
wonderful ancient memories was heartwarming. Hadn't seen many of the Talkie shorts in years; some, in decades...

Though they work in different styles, I often found myself thinking, as I did when I saw the best of The Stooges' work in the last few years, "what PROS these guys were!"

God bless 'em. They gave SO much joy to others, and there is NOTHING that beats that.
