Does anybody here in their right mind really believe a filmmaker from the year 2008 is gonna capture the the feel of a 1940's film ? Gonna capture 1940's senseabilities ? Gonna capture 1940's cultural tunnel-vision ?

Come on now..... This is a re-imagining of a 40's classic. Not a remake. Oh, "there will be blood". There will be gore. This is what we've evolved into. Can't change the facts. This is not gonna be a film you can bring the kiddies to". As I would suspect the same went for those1940's youngsters too.

I think we should all just hope this re-imagining of THE WOLF MAN will have the moxy, the class, the strength to hold up as a modern classic as much as it's predecessor of some 60 some odd years earlier.

"You can't smell any reefer, can you"?
