Don't be so quick to throw in the towel, Johnny me boy. For one thing, you can't count August, as it's the annual TCM Summer of Stars (or whatever they call it) where each day is devoted to a single star. Been that way for years. As for July and September, sure there a lot of re-runs in the Underground slot ( SKIDOO, INCREDIBLY STRANGE CREATURES, RAT PFINK A BOO BOO, 13 GHOSTS, TINGLER, etc.), Summer tv was ever thus. But I wouldn't not call 'em "cult".

And before ya know it comes late September, and a delicious double entree of NIGHT OF THE LEPUS (rerun) & THE GIANT CLAW (TCM Premiere!).

Be there or be square.
I've just deleted that bit of misinformation from my last post. I don't want to get a reputation of being a liar. Thanks for letting me know! Sorry folks.

I actually went right to August without realizing that (like you had pointed out) it is the "SUMMER OF THE STARS". I love the channel (think it's the absolute best T.V. has to offer) but I usually don't keep up with TCM quite as much during their "SUMMER OF THE STARS" so I forgot about it entirely. Also I only checked the first few weeks of September.

As far as July goes, the movies they are presenting as "cult", are so "cult-light", that it just seemed as if TCM UNDERGROUND had become...not so underground. Had you not pointed out that they will be airing THE GIANT CLAW I would have stayed under the impression the TCM UNDERGROUND had been cancelled. Not only will this be the first time THE GIANT CLAW airs on TCM it'll be the first time I ever see it so I'm there for sure. True, I could get it on dvd and see it sooner. But there's something about catching a movie for the first time on T.V. that is alot more fun.
