Though this may not be the appropriate post for this thread, but then again why shouldn't it ? This is in reference to my very first post here. Below we have a very famous photograph taken by Photojournalist Margaret Bork White in 1945, as she accompanied the British Army who liberated Buchenwald the concentration camp established on the Ettersberg (Etter Mountain) near Weimar, Thuringia, Germany.

If you count over seven of these poor souls from the right, your looking at my father. His name is Ben. You need not know his last name because this photo has so much power, it tells the whole story. It carries just as much weight as if you knew the names of these incredibly brave men. My point, you don't need to know my name to discuss so serious a subject.

But I can joyfully tell you all that Ben is still with us, and just celebrated his 93rd year on this god forsaken rock. He taught me to love pretend monsters. And the guy has not one bitter bone in his body. Now that's incredible !
