You might also want to donate a few items to the Bob Wilkins Alzheimer's Fund so they may auction them off to raise money for Mr. Wilkins' care -- I'm sure that Ronald must have watched "Creature Features" and would want to help out his old Horror Host in a time of need, no? Actually Ronald was born and raised in the Philadelphia, PA area. He moved (with his mother) to California in 1989, so I am guessing he had not heard of Wilkins though Edna tells me that he grew up watching SHOCK THEATRE back in the 1950's. I myself have donated to the Wilkins fund though to Sally Wilkins. Edna, however likes my idea about donating it to a college so others can enjoy it. I have pursuaded her not to dump any of the other stuff. I am renting a CLIMATE CONTROLLED STORAGE UNIT to move the rest of the stuff there. One thing I am amazed at is the way he protected his collection. His movie posters were in picture frames and while he did build up his monster models, he protected the original boxes by wrapping them up in Saran Wrap. One interesting thing though, his collection was mostly the Classic Monsters There was no FANGORIAS in his collection. Another puzzling thing to his mother, he grew up with the original EC Comics and had several Originals but she (and I) could not find them anywhere. All we could find were 1970's Horror Comics plus the WARREN Magazines of CREEPY and EERIE.
