I agree, but although the Troglodyte is a retread of the Cyclops, it is a wonderfully animated and very well made and detailed model. Look at the hairs on his shoulders- they don't seem to shift! How did Ray pull that one off? I thought the walrus sequence was well done, especially with the blizzard effect over the effects shots. Two things that also bring this film down are the poor cinematography and the poor music score. Blecch! The giant wasp is a re-tread of "Mysterious Island"s giant bee.

The late David Allen once said that Ray Harryhausen's creative spark began to wane in "Jason And The Argonauts", because it had 7 skeletons, when Ray already did a skeleton sequence in "The 7th Voyage Of Sinbad". I don't agree with that, the 7 skeleton sequence is arguably the finest stop motion sequence ever filmed. But still "Sinbad and The Eye Of The Tiger" is still Ray's worst film in my opinion.
