Hi everyone. I'm new here. Found this place when i did a google search on that lavender print of the Lugosi Dracula film that was apparently found. Anyways, i want to say that i've been given a copy of Andrew Kevin Walker's initial draft of this film and i must say, for those who are worried about this being a bad re-make, you no longer have to. The script i read, while needing work in the second half, was fantastic. It's way more of a re-imagining than a remake. Same characters, same basic concept of "Man goes to visit ancestral home, gets bitten by werewolf, becomes one himself", but the story? It's all new. Some of it's just brilliant. And if you know your werewolf films, you can definitely see the influences they had on the script(but who knows if it was intentional?).

Now, i HATE remakes. But this film has so much going for it right now, and what changed my mind about this film was that draft of the script. Let's hope they don't change it too much to be a re-hash of the original.
