Someone here recently mentioned Maila Nurmi, and what a relief it was to realize she'd been inducted into the Hall of Fame before she passed away, and that we all ought to put on our thinking caps to make sure some of the obviously-deserving "old-timers" get Rondo recognition while they're still with us.

So I was just scanning the new Rondo noms, and noticed that PAUL NASCHY hasn't been inducted into the Hall of Fame yet. I'm thinking he more than deserves to be a Hall of Famer -- not only is he one of the few surviving Monster stars, having played practically every Classic Monster you could think of in numerous films, but he's a true "Monster Kid" himself. His obvious affection for the Universal Monsters is palpable, and adds an extra dimension of charm to his films. So he's getting my vote in that category this year.
