I know I've said it before, but as it was all the way back at page one, I'll bring it up again. I'm going to encourage nominations for Hilarious House of Frightenstein's creator and primary character actor Billy Van for Monster Kid Hall of Fame.

To this day Canada has not boasted a horror host of it's own, short of SCTV's Count Floyd. Billy Van, creator of Hilarious House of Frightenstein filled that void with Canada's only real TV monster fix designed especially for kids. This little independent television series would go on to make over 100 episodes, aired across Canada and many stations throughout the US for 25 years, and is again in syndication. I would dare to go as far as suggest he was Canada's FJA, making monsters fun and accessible for a generation of children with little personal gain, beyond his love for the project. In life his efforts were largely forgotten, and his achievements overlooked. Most regrettably by the generation of monster kids who he inspired. Well it's time to correct that, albeit posthumously, and say thank you Billy Van, Billy Van, Billy Van, Billy Van, etc.
