Like I was sayin' at the beginning of the thread - their transfers are kinda crap! It's really disheartening, because the elements are generally in robust condition*, and these are all HD-ready.

*Crackpot Theory #1: is it at all possible that the transfers are zoomed and re-framed to eliminate something like an end-to-end emulsion scratch running near the margin of the film chain? I'm just looking for some sort of intentionality here. This zooming is so extreme I can't believe no one internally caught it at any stage of the process, for any of the films.
