But homeopathy works on animals and small children who don't know about placebo effects. TOWNSEND LETTER is recognized by doctors (my personal physician reads and has written for it) I have used homeopathic remedies, orally and topical, for years, and they work as claimed. Arnica for instance, in a topical gel or in tablets, is great for sore muscles from overwork or injury...there's stuff for calming and sleep (Calms Forte) without the addicitve efx. There are effective cold, cough, flu homeopathic remedies that work wonderfully, and won't suffer any recalls like their mainstream counterparts. The idea of water "memory" is a bit more complex than you suggest. I realize some studies look at homeopathic dilutions and cannot find any trace of the original substance on their measuring instruments, but all that means is that the amounts left are beneath the measuring capability of the devices. Then there is the energy "fingerprint" which cannot be measured ....which appears to many to be the "bogus voodoo" yet ancient Oriental and Ayervedic medicine all refer to the body's energy fields/chi which science does not recognize...yet as we all know our bodies generate electricity and there are fields around electrical wiring and devices which can be measured so why not the human body also? (Auras etc.) The idea is when the body voltage drops for any reason from where it's supposed to be then illnesses set in ("Shields down to 30% Captain") Proper levels of minerals/electrolytes and a relatively detoxed body are responsible for the electrical generation (like the liquid in a car battery) Depletion of minerals/electrolytes lower the voltage/life force and people get sick...also why some age more quickly. Most are aware of the things that deplete electrolytes....too much caffeine, stress, heat & sweating, improper diet, body ph (too much acid makes the body rob minerals to buffer the acidity)

Having worked in and managed natural foods stores for 20 years I can testify to the vast customer base who purchase and are happy with homeopathic remedies...and in those 20 years I never saw one customer bring anything back complaining it didn't work demanding a refund. But hey...that's all anecdotal evidence right?
