A member of CHFB has turned up several "great pretenders" I'd forgotten about, and even a couple of probably-ins that I hadn't thought of, RADAR SECRET SERVICE and PICNIC ON THE GRASS. And the latter made me recall on my own THE DOCTOR'S HORRIBLE EXPERIMENT, a Great Pretender as it was made in the time period I cover but not released in the U.S. until afterward. Now I have to track down PICNIC ON THE GRASS, which I actually saw years back but don't recall well, to see if it's an in or an out. Fortunately, that same CHFB member (Tim Murphy) does have a DVD of RADAR SECRET SERVICE, and I can watch that to make an inclusion/exclusion decision, even though it's been MST3Kized. At this point, I have to finish my introduction, either write or don't write entries on those two movies, and I'm done with the text. I still have to make arrangements for the cover and for interior cartoons. Selection of stills continues. Bill Thomas counted up the stills in the original edition and learned, surprising both of us, that it/they include 160 photos. This edition will probably have many more than that, including lots of frame grabs.
