I've only had one incident where I returned onine merchandise. That was with Amazon who sent me two damaged books last holiday season. It was a royal pain to have to repack them and ship them back.
Wow, that's interesting... I've only had to return items to Amazon a handful of times in almost 8 years. When I did, it was a simple matter of printing off the return shipping label, sticking the defective/damaged items back in the box they came in, affixing the label and putting the box back in the mail. The return label (printed from Amazon's website) takes care of the postage. Replacement items arrived via FedEx within 48 hours.

I've never had to speak with anyone at Amazon, be they in Bangor or Bangalore. Emails have always sufficed.

"Damn it, it's jammed!"
