I'm reading the Mummy "Dark Resurrection" book right now. Just noticed a little "easter egg" in one of the scenes. When two of the main characters are travelling across Egypt via train, one of them mentions that a nearby bridge was designed by the "great Austrian architect, Hjalmar Poelzig," and that he had a great art-deco style.
A nice little nod to the Karloff/Lugosi "The Black Cat" film.
