I gave up VHS tape some years ago in favor of dvd. There are artists that I believe I have complete or nearly complete collections of works on my shelves like Chaplin and the silent era Buster Keaton. Just about all of the classic horror films that are available, Bogart, etc.

But I think that any of us here would have to stop for a second and consider just whose body of work is best represented in our collections. I'd be willing to bet that I have more films that John Carradine appeared in than just about anybody else. But that's only because Carradine appeared in so many films as a supporting actor. Got John Wayne in Stagecoach? Then you have John Carradine. Captains Courageous with Spencer Tracy? John Carradine. Rathbone's Hound of the Baskervilles, Carradine. Thank You, Mr. Moto, Carradine. Bride of Frankenstein, Garden of Allah, The Hurricane, Grapes of Wrath, Blood and Sand, The Munsters, The Howling --- Carradine, Carradine, Carradine, Carradine, ad infinitum. The list of films Carradine appeared in just goes on and on and on.
