For Monster Kid Hall of Fame, I'd like to nominate Robert Bloch.

A master at his craft - author of screenplays, teleplays, novels, and hundreds of short stories, many of which have been adapted to the screen in films such as ASYLUM, THE HOUSE THAT DRIPPED BLOOD, etc. Master of the type of pun that would make one breathe a deep sigh and shake one's head, yet always with a smile on our face.

Oh, and least I forget, he was the man who gave us PSYCHO.

More than that though, he was one of "us" - forever a (monster) kid at heart, loving all this stuff but never taking it too seriously.

And lastly, Robert Bloch had a huge heart and was a great inspiration to many - myself included. Bloch spent a good part of his life helping others, particularly aspiring, up-and-coming writers like myself - responding to letters sent to him with encouragement, inspiration, and large doses of the previously-mentioned Bloch humor.

Just a great, great man.
