According to an intro by Harlan Ellison when the Sci-Fi Channel ran a marathon during the early days (B.S....before suckage), Number 2 says to 6, "come see me in the morning, Drake." Now to me, that line has always sounded like "come see in the morning break."
That line has caused controversy for several years. Supposedly, it really is "morning break." (Can't recall, way back when I first bought the DVDs, if I checked for either my TV's Closed Captioning or to see if the DVD had subtitles, so that I could read the line for myself. Too many years, and too many DVDs, since then.) Good excuse, as any, to throw 'em on again!

I think one of the elements that keeps THE PRISONER so fascinating for me is the enigmatic character of McGoohan himself.
Maybe he has a lot in common with one of his other portrayals, Dr. Syn. (Wish Disney had gone ahead with plans to bring the Scarecrow back!) Another thing about THE PRISONER that I think makes it work so well is that you can watch it one of two ways, both of which work: #6 was captured by the "other side," or that he was captured by his own people because he knew too much. Interesting implications, either way. If it is his own people, then there are very high-ranking government officials who have no idea the Village even exists. If it is another government, then there are high-placed people in his own government that are working for them. On the IMDB, one woman posted an interesting thought: #6 was actually #1, posing as a prisoner in the Village to check the security and efficiency of operations.
