Tony Martin starred in a handful of Fox b-films in the late-1930s, like "Sing and Be Happy" (1937) and "Winner Take All" (1939), among others. But, he's the only 'adult' 1930s star/leading man besides Bruce Bennett I can think of. Still a fair number of gals, though, as mentioned.

Sure hate seeing 'em all go. Seems like an emptier world without that solid crop of old-time actors around. I always liked Glenn Ford. It would be nice to see his "Cade's County" tv-series make it to dvd some day.
