While I'm not willing to thank Borowski for something that should have never happened in the first place, I am thankful that Tim Lucas is now able to claim the prize he was rightfully due.

Congratulations, Tim. (A Rondo to remember, for sure.)

To protest or speak out against a situation is one thing, but to resort to name-calling, personal attacks and hostile postings is as bad, if not worse, than what this entire controversy was calling into question.

Y' know, I just don't remember that much name calling. The worst I recall was 'fraud' and I think that was fairly accurate, under the circumstances.

What I do recall is a lot of questions, along with some negative conjecture that lead to some humorous conclusions that may have been construed as 'name-calling.' I think that National Lampoon would have referred to it as 'just gentle joshin'.'

I do NOT know Sam B., and have absolutely no affiliation with him; BUT, despite all the name-calling and accusations he has endured these past weeks, never has he resorted to the type of shameful and third-grade name-calling as many here have.

You're right. That was all done by his friends.

I'm both glad and sad that it's over. It's one of those fascinating events that reminds me of the line from WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY when Gene Wilder says, "The suspense is terrible! I hope it'll last."

Anyway, all's well that ends well. Borowski did the right thing.
