Based on my initial skim through, and other reviews online, I'd like to nominate Stephen Thrower's NIGHTMARE USA in the book category. It's a little difficult to get right now, but Amazon seems to be finally getting enough copies so you have a chance to get it (I had to get mine through Amazon Canada).

Anybody who spends four or five years researching so he can finally tell the stories behind MESSIAH OF EVIL, BLOOD SONG and GODMONSTER OF INDIAN FLATS deserves a Rondo. And possibly a medal of honor.

The book is also massive. Maybe there should be a weigh in between NIGHTMARE USA and Tim Lucas' Bava book at the Rondo ceremony, with a special award given for Book Mostly Likely to Snap Your Wrists Like Twigs While You're Reading it in Bed.
