I don't remember what got me into the theater in the first place, but the first movie in my life that I ever walked out on was Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS. To this day, it may be the most morally depraved thing I've ever seen.

I also walked out on Summer Lovers, due to its sheer stupidity.

The late Gene Siskel once pointed out, in response to people who don't walk out on movies they've already paid to see, is that our time is much more valuable than the seven or eight dollars we've squandered on a cinematic turd. Wise words, indeed.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.
