I have nothing but praise for John Barry. I don't care if reworks some of his scores from time to time. All musicians renew there scores in some form or another. Barry is also prolific. I suspect that like Ennio Morriconie (who can also be repetitive) that he would sell rejected scores to other productions. Sometimes Barry can be a bit weak but these guys do work some nutbusting time tables.

As for Chris Cornnell, I never did like Soundgarden. Alas, that guy can sing. One of the problems is that we lack a wealth of popular singers for adults. There are very few crossover appealls for that sort of thing. I can picture Sean Connery or Roger Moore (or if James Bond was real) listening and enjoying too most of the singers affiliated with the movies. But I can't see them listining to Sheryl Crow or Chris Cornell or Garbage.
